A guest’s wish is our command — especially when that guest is visiting our city. Our Odesa. One of the most beautiful and welcoming cities in the world.
Odesa is not a city you simply explain. It is a city you discover, layer by layer.
Those who have already stood by the famous manhole may be surprised by the name of this tour. A sightseeing tour of Odesa only five metres long? Not quite! We are going the other way. And yes, we will eventually make it to the Duke — just from a different direction.
No, you will not hear the usual boring “look to your left, look to your right.” But during this sightseeing tour, you will not miss the streets and pavements once walked by Pushkin and Gogol, Babel and Kataev, Kotovsky and Zhukov, Fidel Castro and Mark Twain.
And forget the classics for a moment — modern-day Odesa creates so many stories of its own that you could never collect them all.
So don’t waste time. Come along and join the tour! Let’s discover the planet called Odesa.
Tour Program
- Start: Transfiguration Cathedral (main entrance) This is where Odesa shows you its grand side right away: Cathedral Square, the story of the city, and that first moment when you realise this walk is not about rushing — it is about taking it all in.
- Cathedral Square
Calm, bright and full of character. A place where the city does not need to shout to make an impression — very Odesa.
- Odesa Passage
One of the city’s architectural gems, filled with ornate details, elegant façades and atmosphere. You can spend a long time looking around here — and in this case, “a long time” is definitely not a bad thing.
- City Garden
An oasis of shade, music and Odesa-style philosophy. You sit down “just for a minute” and suddenly realise half an hour has passed.
- Deribasivska Street
Odesa’s most famous street. Officially pedestrian, but in reality it feels more like a little stage where everyone walks as if someone is already filming them.
- Primorsky Boulevard
A walk with a view that somehow makes tiredness disappear. This is Odesa at its best: fresh air, open space and that unmistakable feeling of “yes, I am by the sea.”
- Theatre Square
Here Odesa straightens its back and tries to look very serious. It works beautifully — although the city’s true character still manages to show through.
- Tour finish: Odesa

We Recommend Bringing
Dress comfortably and for the weather. Comfortable shoes are a must — Odesa is best enjoyed when you can take your time and look around, not when your feet are begging you to stop.
On a hot day, bring some water and a hat. The Odesa sun is welcoming, but it has plenty of character.
And make sure your phone is fully charged before the tour: you’ll come across beautiful photo spots much more often than power sockets.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Tour
Are we really walking, or does the guide have Tram No. 5 parked somewhere nearby?
Yes, this is a walking tour. We move at a relaxed pace with regular stops — Odesa is a city to explore with your eyes, not race through on tired legs.
How long is the tour — “just a little while” or “long enough to become a local”?
Usually around 2–2.5 hours. The pace is moderate, and the route is designed to be interesting and enjoyable — not a workout.
How can I pay for the tour?
You can pay for the tour:
- online through our website
- by bank card transfer — our managers will send you the payment details by SMS
- in cash at our office or directly to the guide before the tour
What are the cancellation and refund terms if your plans suddenly take a different turn?
We understand — life can be a bit like an Odesa tram: sometimes it suddenly changes direction.
If you cancel your booking and let us know in advance, the refund policy is as follows:
- 7 calendar days or more before the tour — 100% refund
- at least 72 hours before the tour — 50% refund
- 1 day before the tour — 25% refund
Where do we meet, and how do I know it’s our guide — not just someone standing there looking important?
The meeting point is listed on the tour page and in your booking confirmation. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early — that gives you enough time to find the group and still look like you were the first one there.
What should I wear and bring with me — besides a good mood (which is highly recommended too)?
Comfortable shoes are a must. Water is recommended. In summer, bring a hat and sun protection; in cooler seasons, dress for the weather.
And if you’re planning to take lots of photos, make sure your phone is fully charged — Odesa has a habit of filling up your camera roll very quickly.
